In the past, monasteries were built very highly and ,so far away from the center of the city, for security and away from the city crowd. We also visit this monastery built by Elephtherios,In the 6th century AD, we visit the Af Kule monastery which is far from the sea by 400 meters and at the distance of 3 km from Fethiye.
